Digital Ceramic Art

I had a twenty five year career as a ceramic artist from 1972 until 1997, in which I sold almost a million dollars of things I made from dirt. All of the works below originated as ceramic objects, either sculptures or mosaic paintings. Around 1997 I began experimenting with Photoshop. I was and am fascinated by this tool. It allowed me to transition from clay to digital and to get a real job at an agency on Madison Avenue in New York. The images below originated as clay objects and I have changed, collaged, distorted, colorized and made new digital works from older imagery, always in creative mode.
